passion project exploration

I am writing my topic on ALS, My grandpa died of ALS and i'm very interested in this topic because i wonder if their will ever be help or a cure for it. This summer ALS became a huge topic globally with the ALS ice bucket challenge. There is two sides to the topic, One side doesn't believe in donating money to ALS because they do testing on animals. The other side believes that we need to find a cure even with animal testing.
